So I left her alone for 1 minute a few mornings ago and this is what happened. Teach me to leave the wipes open...
I thought I would get her into working out a little early. She was totally weirded out. She wouldn't let go because she thought she would fall. We had to pry her little fingers off the bar while she squawked at us. It was pretty funny.
So this is how last saturday started, I got to run a 10k here on post to start us off. It was pretty fun, I shaved about 45 seconds off my time from last november on the same 10k course.
Then after the 10k we headed to Seaside to the beach! We weren't sure if it would be worth it because we got a late start, but we were so glad we went! It was beautiful and Pyper loved playing in the sand and water. Last time we brought her down to the beach she hated it and was pissed the whole time. We were so happy to see that she enjoyed herself.
She was everywhere, we went with a big group of people who had kids. She loved crawling around all of the other kids playing in the sand. We were smart parents this time and packed plenty of sunscreen so we wouldn't repeat that sunburn we gave her last time.
We had a lot of fun at the beach that day. I got to body surf, which I had not done since I was about 10ish in California. Both me and Jordan thought it was a much needed break from our everyday routine. So all of you needing a beach day come on out to Alabama and we will drive you to Florida to enjoy some fun in the sun. Haha.
